In celebration of Thanksgiving, New Horizons Academy will be closed for Thanksgiving Break at all three campuses—Wauseon, Springfield, and Career Center. There will be no school during the holiday break.

Thanksgiving Break Dates: November 25-27, 2026

Thanksgiving is a special time to slow down, gather with loved ones, reflect on our many blessings, and appreciate the people who make our lives so meaningful.

At New Horizons Academy, we have so much to be thankful for!

We’re grateful for our extraordinary students, whose determination, resilience, joyful spirits, and unique personalities inspire us every single day. Each new accomplishment, every challenge overcome, and every milestone reached reminds us of the incredible potential within every child.

We’re thankful for our dedicated teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and support staff, who pour their hearts into creating an environment where every student feels valued, supported, encouraged, and loved.

And we’re especially grateful for our amazing families, who entrust us with their children, partner with us through challenges and triumphs, and share in the beautiful journey of helping each student learn, grow, and soar.

Thanksgiving reminds us that some of life’s greatest blessings aren’t things at all. They’re the people we love, the relationships we build, the moments we share, and the little victories that mean so much.

As our school family takes this well-deserved break, we hope your days are filled with laughter, rest, delicious food, meaningful traditions, and precious time with those you hold dear.

May we all take a moment to recognize God’s many blessings and the countless reasons we have to be thankful.

From our New Horizons Academy family to yours, we wish you a safe, joyful, and blessed Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂❤️🦅

We look forward to welcoming our Soaring Eagles back after Thanksgiving Break, refreshed and ready to continue learning, growing, and reaching new heights together!
